Software Engineer

We are currently on the lookout for Software Engineers to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Experienced Software Engineer - Integrations to design, develop, and implement data inbound/outbound and integration solutions for Sysco's ERP and legacy systems.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design and implement data inbound/outbound strategies for various systems, including AS400, SAP, and other ERP platforms.
• Build Event-driven APIs using Kafka for real-time data streaming.
• Create and maintain REST APIs for data access and consumption by other applications.
• Lead application developers to implement data integrations to ERP platforms.
• Monitor and optimize integration performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues, ensuring data quality and accuracy.

The Profile:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent, and 1+ years of experience developing production enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Kafka, REST API, DevOps, and Python
• Hands-on experience with data ingestion and extraction from ERP systems like AS400, SAP, and Dynamics.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including building containerized and serverless applications.
• Familiarity with Linux based systems, DevOps practices and prior experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with working in a Scrum Agile delivery environment.
• Familiarity with Quality Engineering process and practices.
• Familiarity with GraphQL would be an added advantage.
