The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to work at the intersection of AI, privacy, and cybersecurity, conducting security assessments, penetration testing, and compliance evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct penetration testing on web applications, cloud environments, and networks to
• identify security vulnerabilities.
• Perform threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and risk evaluations.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the SDLC.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, including forensic analysis and root cause identification.
• Develop and implement automated security testing and compliance monitoring solutions.
• Create and maintain security policies, guidelines, and best practices.
• Research emerging cybersecurity threats and enhance ZenCompliance’s security framework.
• Support and lead red team engagements to assess security posture.
• Provide security awareness training for employees and stakeholders.

Skills & Attributes for Success

• Strong knowledge of web security vulnerabilities, OWASP Top 10, and attack vectors.
• Hands-on experience with Burp Suite, Metasploit, Kali Linux, and other security tools.
• Expertise in Active Directory security, network security, and cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate security assessments.
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms (Splunk, IBM QRadar, XSIAM) and security orchestration
• tools (SOAR/SIRP).
• Understanding of TCP/IP protocols, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
• Ability to assess compliance with security standards (GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST).
• Strong communication skills to explain technical security concepts to non-technical
• stakeholders.
• Passion for cybersecurity trends, threats, and innovations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CISSP, CEH, or GIAC.
• Experience in cloud security, DevSecOps, and infrastructure-as-code security.
