Cyber Security Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Penetration Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across a variety of ICT systems including Web, Mobile, API, Network, and WiFi. The role involves evaluating security measures, identifying vulnerabilities, and providing actionable recommendations to mitigate risks. Additionally, the Penetration Tester will play a key role in process improvement initiatives and mentorship activities within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on ICT systems to identify security weaknesses and potential risks.
• Perform firewall rule reviews, source code reviews, database security assessments, and network architecture reviews.
• Develop and implement penetration testing methods, scripts, and tests to effectively evaluate system security.
• Define test strategies and methodologies for conducting thorough penetration testing exercises.
• Analyze test results and generate comprehensive reports outlining findings, security issues, and risk levels.
• Provide expert guidance and recommendations to stakeholders on mitigating security risks and implementing necessary fixes.
• Automate penetration testing activities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Mentor and train new joiners and junior resources on penetration testing techniques and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security testing capabilities and facilitate tool procurement activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the penetration testing framework to ensure effectiveness and relevance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 02 years of professional experience in penetration testing.
• Proven experience in conducting penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across various ICT systems.
• In-depth knowledge of security testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, web applications, mobile platforms, and API security.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Ruby, or PowerShell.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
