Job Description:
Position Overview: As a Senior PHP/Laravel Developer at Expernetic, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop web applications and software solutions using PHP and Laravel.
- Collaborate with a team of developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software products.
- Architect, implement, and maintain back-end and front-end components of web applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while following best practices and coding standards.
- Optimize and improve existing software to enhance performance and user experience.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the applications by implementing security best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to junior developers.
- Debug and resolve technical issues and bugs as they arise.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a PHP/Laravel developer with at least four years of experience.
- Strong expertise in PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies.
- Solid understanding of database design and optimization, including MySQL.
- Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of software development best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
- Experience with other web development frameworks and technologies (.Net C#) is a plus.
