About the Role:
The full-stack engineer is responsible for leading the development of new features. Your work will help the users build responsible and trustworthy AI by ensuring that client solutions meet their needs. The platform is composed of several high-performing components that will need to be integrated elegantly into a well-documented user-facing API and UI.
The full stack engineer is a highly collaborative role that involves just as much documentation and planning as it does development. The Client therefore will require someone who not only can build features from end to end, but also, someone who can do so in a team setting. Given the novelty of the product offering, the Client requires an individual who is comfortable thinking about abstract problems and proposing novel solutions.
Given the nature of the work, some basic familiarity with statistics and data science are strongly preferred. Furthermore, any experience working with AI algorithms, either directly or indirectly, is an added benefit.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with full-stack engineers, the head of product, and users to create high- performance APIs designed to ingest and store large amounts of data.
- Help break down complex features into vertically sliced engineering tasks and rollout plans
- Deliver features that have direct impact on all of the users
- Experiment with and advocate for new systems, design patterns, and tooling
- Use and contribute to the Core API
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Help lead the planning and refinement process, take a lead role in agile ceremonies
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of Experience in Python
- 5+years of Experience in React.JS
- Experienced Full Stack Developer
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Experience working with high-performance applications and elegant UIs Experience working on cross-functional team and acting as a leader Experience programming in Python and Typescript
- Value simple solutions, and detail oriented
- Strong data architecture skills
- Willingness to learn and understand our domain, desire to be a part of discussions with key stakeholders, customers, and thought leaders in the AI governance space
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with AI
- Familiarity with AI systems and algorithms
- Strong data visualization skills
- Experience with observability platforms
