We are looking for a Django Expert with solid experience in web application development and a strong passion for working with Python and Django.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain high-quality web applications using Django.
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, efficient, and reusable code.
- Collaborate with our cross-functional team to analyze, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Resolve complex technical issues as they arise.
- Adhere to best practices for software development, and ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Integrate data storage solutions, which may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
Qualifications:
- BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven work experience as a Django developer.
- Proficiency in Python, Django, Django REST framework.
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
- Experience with code versioning tools such as Git.
- Familiarity with deployment and development pipelines, specifically with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Strong unit testing and debugging skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving capabilities.
