As a Finance Manager at Axiata Digital Labs Pvt Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations and activities of the company. You will play a crucial role in ensuring financial stability, accuracy, and compliance with regulations. Your primary objective will be to provide strategic financial guidance, analyze financial data, and contribute to decision-making processes within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management.
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend improvements.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.
Risk Management:
- Identify and assess financial risks and develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to proactively address potential financial risks.
Financial Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Manage relationships with financial institutions, vendors, and other external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, including timely filing of tax returns and payments.
Team Leadership:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance evaluations, mentor team members, and identify training needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Must be professionally qualified in Institute of Charted accounts of Sri Lanka
- Proven work experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role. (minimum 3 years)
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience with financial reporting and compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
