As a People & Culture Intern, you will be an integral part of our team, supporting various HR initiatives and contributing to the overall success of our organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in talent acquisition, employer branding, employee engagement, learning and development, and other day-to-day HR operations:
Your main responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:
- Assisting in Talent Acquisition: Help us find top talent by supporting the end-to-end talent acquisition process, including but not limited to sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
- Onboarding Support: Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new joiners.
- Assisting in delivering comprehensive onboarding support to new employees. This includes facilitating a seamless experience for new team members, aiding in their smooth transition, and helping them acclimate to the organization's processes, procedures, and culture.
- Employer Branding: Contribute to promoting our Company as an employer of choice through various partnerships and other initiatives.
- Employee Engagement: Assist in executing exciting activities/initiatives that boost team spirit and motivation.
- Learning and Development: Assist in implementing programs that foster employee growth and skills development.
- HR Support: Work alongside our People & Culture Manager to handle day-to-day HR tasks.
Candidate Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Completed or following a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or an equivalent professional qualification in HRM.
- Successful completion of GCE Ordinary Levels (OLs) and Advanced Levels (ALs).
- Well-organized with exceptional attention to detail, consistently demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
- Possess a hands-on mentality and proactive approach, taking initiative to complete tasks and contribute to team goals.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Sinhala. Proficiency in Tamil is an added advantage.
- People-oriented with a pleasant personality, displaying enthusiasm, energy, dedication, and integrity.
- Ambitious with a can-do mindset, ready to learn on the job and take on challenges with an eagerness to consistently exceed expectations.
- Strong IT literacy skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Availability to work in Colombo from Monday to Friday on a full-time basis for a period of 6 months.
